Another shot of these amazing flowers (which I unfairly called weeds and are actually from the poppy family) growing on a small plot of land beside a house near me. I stop to look at them everyday I pass, they really are gorgeous. It’s funny that I called them weeds probably more to do with the fact that the plot of land is disused and untended to but someone alerted me as to their name. Anyway as someone told me recently and it couldn’t be truer than in this case, weeds are just flowers planted in the wrong place.Their beautiful flowers don’t last long, this one was gone by the evening, but wow they are gorgeous.
