I imagine it’ll be another busy year of Dail protests, this guy was first off the mark.

Been meaning to post this for days, it was taken at last week’s demonstration in Dublin to protest against cuts in services for people with disabilities. There are more pics on Pixie including other demonstrations at the Dail.

It was another busy two weeks at the Dáil with protests. As some of you may be aware, the Dáil sits from Tuesday to Thursday with most of the action concentrated at that time. There are a few people who are regular fixtures outside the Dáil and as I said previously I’ll take them now and again, and this week it is the anti-civil union blokes who feature again.

I was  also lucky to get some of the people from the General Election facebook group in their flash mob type very loud lunchtime beep your horns protest. Apparently they intend to protest at the Dáil every Wednesday from 1 to 2pm so if you have some time to spare and a colander or two, you know where to go.

Well hello there, I didn’t mean to be away from here for this long, its just been a mad couple of weeks. I have more Dail protest pics from the last two weeks, but I’ll just put them all up in one post. I am endeavouring to separate them week by week, but not in this post – I am just too tired to try and work out when they were taken, otherwise I won’t put them up just yet.

There are also some repeat protests pics, from people carrying out their own ongoing campaigns and I’ll decide whether or not to keep taking the same people over and over again in the future, as it stands I am probably more inclined to not continually repeat them unless I take something different about them, we’ll see.

Anyway this is the latest lot of people protesting at the Dail.

This guy was outside the Dail this morning, holding aloft a blank sign. I love the idea that you fill it in with whatever your anger is, course it could be some mad jokey/candid camera thing, who knows. EDIT apparently he’s calling it the Aimless Protest or so @shellymc told me on Twitter.
