This was taken in the front seat of a Belfast black hack, a black taxi that runs a particular route like buses and you share it with other people. You can see them driving up and down the road with prams hanging out the back of the boot, in fact thats something that visitors to the city always find mad, but its completely common place and actually makes sense as mammies don’t have to lift out children, bags and pack up a pram before jumping in. I’ll have to get a shot of that sometime, I actually don’t think I have one.

Wednesday is a busy day in Dail Eireann and as such is also a busy day for demonstrations; today was no exception with protests from Roscommon Against Headshops and Survivors Against Abuse in Industrial Schools as well as two men who have been at the Dail for a couple of days protesting against Civil Partnerships, judging by one of the blokes’ signs its just gay men they have a problem with, lesbians are okay obviously

We got back from Washington DC on Tuesday afternoon and between work and everything else, I’ve been wrecked all week. On top of that my home internet has just constantly rejecting photographs for upload which has been a complete pain (not one pics was uploaded). But now I have mostly processed the pics I like best and I’ll get finished on the rest of them. I’m still playing catch up on lots and lots of pics dating back to November, but I am determined to get through them in the next week. Its gonna be a long week Anyway hope you enjoy this batch from last weekend and you can see more on Flickr.
