Over the next while I’ll be posting pics from our two days in Mullaghmore in Sligo. We woke up on the first morning to see bouncy castles and stalls being set up, with the main attraction of the day being the donkey derby. It was mighty craic altogether so this first pic is from one of the donkey derby races.
Of the many iphone camera apps I’ve tried the Hisptamatic one is a fav. You’re able to use a number of different lens, flash and film, with all different features. I seem to veer in favour of the John S lens giving you lovely dramatic, contrasty, green-cast pics with excellent texture. Here’s some of the results. Are you using the app, whats your own fav pic?

It was such a beautiful day on Sunday I went up to Farmleigh with Elly and George for the Experience Japan day. Obviously the 8,000+ other visitors had the same idea as the place, and indeed Phoenix Park was as packed as I’ve ever seen it. So we had a dander around before heading back to my place for a lovely barbecue, I have been reassured that George’s lovely sauce and home-made Caesar salad dressing will be on the blog in the next while, do keep an eye out for them as they were yummy.
